Following the trail upwards near you to take you directly there.

It's simply the best location for a base in Zomboid in my opinion. I've known some good bases but this one is on top of my list by far. First of all, it's isolated enough to avoid being bothered by zombies after a day or two of clearing the nearby woods, yet it's reachable with a vehicle since an asphalt road leads to it.The first map Snake made, the military complex is a very post-apocalyptic base filled with great new custom graphics (body bags, US Army crates and boxes, new graffiti) and lots of cool loot including Alice backpacks and new weapon parts from the other mods in the pack.
