Hello guys, can someone please help me identify the marks on this Mauser K98? Those be NAZI markings!!! Lol. The Nazi eagle on the receiver and barrel are firing proofs, indicating the gun was high pressure tested and is safe. The 2357 is obviously the serial number. The Eagle/63 and Eagle/WaA63 are waffenamts, official inspection stamps ...I'm also curious to find out if this is an all original rifle or a bit of a "frankenstein". Sounds like the barrel is the same length as a German K98k. I don't know if the Yugoslavs made new barrels in the K98k length, or just scrubbed all markings from a serviceable German made barrel. They did shorten many K98k stocks to allow use of a bayonet with their new made, shorter barrels (same as M24/47 and M48).
