In fact, it was much easier installing it than it was installing the Sig Sauer Laser that had a push-button on/off switch under the trigger guard.

I had FTE/FTF problems and RTB issues with my early 2018 stock p365 when SIG fitted the slides to rails extremely tight. After a ton of manually cycling the slide for hours and about 300+ of Nato 124gr rounds in the slide was smooth as glass and my problems went away. I hope you're able to pinpoint the exact problem.
