Won't start on starting fluid either. I pulled a spark plug and confirmed there's no spark. Checked for power to the coils and don't have anything on the middle terminal. Should be 12v. It all of the sudden stopped running while my father in law was driving it. It ran fine before. It cranks over fine, has compression, has spark. Needed to find a hotwire off the ignition to splice into for the remote switch. Used a meter to check the back of the ignition. Probed the first connection on the left of the ignition (as you look from the front), lights came on then lost all electrical power.

If nothing out is found to be out of order start looking at the components that send signals to the ECU. IF you have no spark take a look at the plugs to see if they are wet with fuel.
