There is a "Drain Hose" behind the Carpet that allows the AC Condensation to drip out under the vehicle. If it's clogged or come off it will leak onto the floor. Additionally if the vehicle has a Sunroof, the system uses "Drain Hoses" and there are 4 of them.If so you could have a heater core leak (although those leaks very rarely result in the rear carpet getting wet).
