You can get a little more height on your well skate if you immediately push the jump button right after you well skate. Example: switch to eager edge sword, heavy attack, jump, super, jump again. You’re just adding that last jump press to the sequence. Also if you haven’t already, you should be using Icarus dash.

This is done the same way as shatterdive skating on hunter except you use well instead of shatterdive (Eager Edge off a ledge -> jump+well). I doubt I'm the first one to come up with this but I haven't seen anyone else post it so I thought I would share it here.

The timing comes down to practice and "feeling", don't go too close to the ledge to avoid diving straight down, there's a "sweet spot" you'll have to find as your fail a few times.
