This website gives the statistics of waitlist admits. I'm on the same boat. Over 6000 kids on the waitlist last year and they admitted 159. They do this to make their yield look much higher - no one tracks the number of kids that say “ No thanks, you are too expensive, I am going elsewhere for less $$”.
