The rest of the world does not have to stop having a conversation about an amazing plot twist because you personally haven't played it.

Imo KOTOR is still worth playing even if you got spoiled. Although the Revan reveal is an important part of what makes the game great there's plenty of other components that make the game awesome. I actually got it spoiled partway through my first playthrough, but I still greatly enjoyed it and have replayed since.
