I shoot a Knight Wolverine LK-II that uses a #11 primer and I would not change that for the world. The #11 cap is a lot more water proof then you might think. Also with the addition of 209 primers you then get into the crud ring problem with certain powders.

I had a 209 conversion for my MK85. But the plunger length on my LK-II is shorter so unless Knight makes the conversion kits in more than one length, I don't think the LK-II can be converted. That said, I was able to shoot BH209 successfully out of the LK-II with the #11 caps.

Knight no longer offers a bare primer replacement breech plug because of liability. The do off a Red Plastic Jacket version breech plug that you insert 209 primers into then insert the assembly on the RPJ breech plug. To use this assembly you would have to get a new hammer assembly with a pointed comb in the nose to ignite the 209 primer.

Hey guys I have an original disc rifle with the orange discs. I am thinking about purchasing a conversion kit to be able to use the red discs. Has anyone done this and how does it compare with the orange discs.
