Subscribe. Description. Living World. This is a mod that adds a large number of world state triggers and town overrides to make the world of Kenshi feel more alive. What this means is that towns change faction ownership if important NPCs are dead. Also player being allied to a faction can decide which faction takes over.
If I'm not mistaken you've got to hold right-click on the building, then the option 'repair' will show itself and it'll tell you what materials you need for the repairs. Even building small wind generators on rooftops, the town will not dent power generated from your faction.

The hub is a bad place to sell stuff because the thieves buy everything with a -50% and the only other trader is the barman who can get easily killed at the gates. Hub is a decent place if you want to have a pre-built town but it also is a very limited outpost because of that.
