Apr 22, 2024 · Only make sure to install the ReShade default shaders. It will pop up a scary-looking message box warning of bans when you first launch. Just ignore it; ReShade can get you banned just as much as GShade can, aka it can't. Don't install into ffxiv.exe, as that's the DirectX 9 version of the game. This uses the base shaders that come with reshade, not the custom ones that were tweaked for XIV that gshade used. I fixed this problem by randomly instaling Gshade to several .exe from boot and game folder. I have the same issue. It only works on the regular launcher. No clue why. GShade only works for me when I use normal Launcher. When I use XIV Launcher Gshade menu does not work.
