Before, that I had a chance to spend some time with the Staccato P and C2 on range day. Here are my first impressions of those upgrades. Just not sure if I'd run either enough to show wear on the aluminum frame version. The barrel on the C2 is 3.9" where the P is 4.4".The CS is a little bit snappier than the C2, but fits better in the hand for many and is a little easier to conceal. As for the magazines, the C2 is compatible with the rest of the Staccato family while the CS is not. It’s almost certain that future models will have the CS magazine, as it is thinner with same capacity.

IMO (having owned a P DUO and picked up a Prodigy this morning) the Staccato has better build quality. The frame and slide finish is superior, the slide to rail fitment is slightly better (slide racks more smoothly on the Staccato) and the Staccato trigger is slightly crisper and lighter. I'd put the Springfield at 95% vs the Staccato's 100%.

It's glock 19 size and the "p" is the duty size. The "p" is close to a glock 17 size. I like it so much I bought an XC for a fun range gun.
