From what I understand this gun is based off an older 228 model that is long since discontinued. The 226 is a bit longer. Apr 25, 2019 · The M11-A1 has a pretty stiff factory mainspring. Maxed out the gage (12lbs) part way through the DA pull. It was pretty ridiculous on mine. 18# spring worked with a DA pull around 10.5 lbs but 17 didn't so I'm going with a 19# just to be on the safe side. I'm running a 19# in my P220 with no troubles so I'm going with that.
