I recommend that you buy an I&T FO-4 shop manual for your 8N before you tear into the hydraulic system. Cost $35-$40. They have a procedure in the I&T FO-4 manual to test pump pressure. I would definitely check the pump first. Now is the time to do it. Get an adjustment jig from Zane Sherman & do it right; also, replace the cam follower pin while you're in there. The standard 3-point lift arm "balls" should lower to about 8-1/2" above ground and raise to about 34-1/4". Total lift range is 25-3/4". 50 Tips.
