There was a very famous Monster Hunter World content creator named Jinjinx and Tuna and they picked up Remnant after they burned out on thousands of hours of MHW and Beam Rifle Crit was their go-to build. It out-DPS everything in the game. The most broken weapon imo was the Devastator. It was nerfed multiple times too.

Using the AOE damage buff mod on secondary for 30%, then crit chance+damage and the radiant armour set, while buffed ticks for like 110-900 without headshots.
