I own and XDM 3.8C in .45 and have shot many Glock 19's. both great guns, the G19 is a bit thinner and lighter (but mine is a .45) IMO the Glock grip angle is a make/break type of thing. You either love em or you don't. Took back the Sig and got a Glock 22. I kept telling myself before hand, "you better not like this gun" and I came back out happy enough, Glocks absolutely blow. Asked to shoot their tact. length XD, as I have already rented a service. Much much better than the Glock, but not as fun as the Sig.

The xds has a partial feed ramp machined into the locking block that adds length to the feed ramp , and helps prevent nose dive so common in single stack 9mm pistols because of the tapered case . Glock doesnt make a single stack in 40 or 45. Just 9mm and 380.. 380 isnt enough oomph.
