Dodge ram clicking noise front end.

I have am 04 Ram 1500, 4x4, 5.7l hemi, 61k miles. It started to days ago. My truck started making a whirring noise coming from the rear of the vehicle. When I have my window down I can hear a clicking noise coming from what sounds like the front left part of the axle. The cadence of the sound correlates with the speed.The fix is to file away any rust build-up with a file. And of course, make sure the caliper moves in/out freely on it's sliding pins.
