If it immediately fires,runs and then stalls you have a fuel delivery problem (clogged fuel filter, no power to fuel pump or bad pump). If it doesn't run with starting fluid then you have no ignition (bad plugs, distrib.cap and wires or defective coil)

Cranks but won't start I have an 05 camry with a 2.4l engine. I parked the car in my driveway and when i came back out the car would only crank but no start. UPDATE: I ended up having the vehicle towed to Toyota. Toyota tech told me one of the wires from the remote starter was tapped into the steering lock and was applying too much resistance or voltage, which caused the steering lock fuse to keep blowing, causing the steering to be unable to unlock, which will not let the vehicle start.Toyota Model: RAV4 2014 d4d. When the radio and lights work but it won't start, try jiggling the shifter in Park, or shifting to Neutral and see if it starts.
