Oct 23, 2020 · I like the Bravo, but the X-ray is not the "chassis look" version of the bravo... its essentially the polymer/less adjustable version of the Whiskey-3. Completely different between the X-ray and the Bravo. Having held and handled a couple Bravo's, the X-Ray is definitely more like the Whiskey-3...which is why I got it.

The XRAY and Bravo have options for hooks, stops, or bag riding toes and the grip area feels much better out of the box. As much as I hate to admit it, the KRG Whiskey/X-ray/Alpha chassis's are probably my favorite over the MDT/Oryx stuff. I have a BRN-1 chassis, an LSS-XL, Savage factory chassis, and an XRS.Honestly, at least for what has been released so far, the Bravo seems like a better product with many more accessories and options. You can pick up a Bravo and a couple of accessories for the same price that the XRS is supposed to sell for. Well I just received my two Strike Nuke Evo chassis yesterday and did a short video of them today. The quality is top notch and surprisingly they feel like a Macmillan A4/A5 and are well balanced. They are heavier then a KRG Bravo or the MDT XRS by about 1 to 2 pounds and priced about 100-150$ more as well.

MDT makes great stuff, but it’s hard to beat the sheer amount of Lego you can play with KRG stuff. IMO the bravo vs the XRS is the better comparison. Having had both I wouldn’t choose the bravo again despite the XRS being a bit more expensive. I haven’t used the field stock, but KRG Bravo is a great chassis for the money.
