Decided to take a FRER with my partner, he saw the dye run and states he a grey line appear even before it reached the control. I waited till 3 mins and saw a faint line Went to look at the test after an hour and the line disappeared now I …Test again tomorrow or on Monday... My first test with FRER on Monday, I thought I saw an indent line. Two hours later, I dug out the test to see a vvvvvf pink line. I tested next day, i saw slightly pink'ish line. I’m sorry but yes those seem like indents. I have had way too many of them, so many that I stopped using frer completely. I now use internet cheapies and then confirm with frer. Even then with my last pregnancy in December the internet cheapies showed positive 2 days before an frer. These frers are way too expensive to be so unreliable!

Unfortunately all tests are susceptible to the indent lines when testing early. Since every single test has an indent line where the dye is supposed to settle. It’s best to wait til the day AF is due for the most accurate test.

Shining a flashlight through it can enhance the indent where a positive would be. I would never recommend doing anything to inspect tests because that could lead to false hope.
